A year ago, I took my daughter Kate on a day trip to see some of the historical sights in Philadelphia. This was a special trip, as Kate is a History Major and Philadelphia is the birthplace of America. What can make a visit to Philly even more fantastic, is the fact that many activities in the city are free. You can save a few dollars while touring the city and have some left over for that iconic cheesesteak!
